Do you guarantee the products you manufacture?

Yes, Access Assembly provides a 100% replacement guarantee on the quality of materials, the quality of workmanship and the fulfilment of your specifications.


How long does it take to manufacture a product?

It varies with each product. Sometimes, we can manufacture using locally sourced materials and the turn-around may be days. In other cases, with complex products or hard to acquire materials, lead times may be a couple of weeks longer.


My product still needs some developmental work. Can you help?

Yes, Access Assembly can help! We have partners in mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical engineering, and can refer you to the people best suited to bring your project to life.


Can you design packaging and literature for my product?

We can refer you to partners of ours in printing and marketing, as well as engineers for any technical documentation that you may require, free of charge.


What products do you manufacture, and do you provide full traceability?

We manufacture all types of electronic and electro-mechanic products from cable assemblies to box build and completed products. We also provide testing to customer specification as well as full traceability for any product we build. Please contact us about your product � most likely, we can manufacture it for you.


What products do you NOT manufacture?

We do not manufacture any products containing chemicals or liquids. We do not manufacture shoes, clothing, textiles, or furniture.


Do you have a minimum order size?

No. We are a small but flexible operation, and you'd be surprised how many wire assemblies use common components! We streamline every process, so we can mobilize quickly.


How do I pay for products you manufacture?

The safest method of payment for both parties is an irrevocable letter of credit. With a letter of credit, the customer puts the money for the goods in a trust with a third party bank at the time the purchase documents are placed. (The customer buys a financial instrument that promises to pay the vendor when certain conditions are met). The vendor receives payment from the bank when the vendor presents their shipping documents proving that the goods have been produced and delivered to the freight carrier according to the purchase documents. The drawbacks with letters of credit are that the instruments can be costly (bank fees) and the customer ties up their funds for the full term while the goods are being manufactured.

An alternate method of payment that will save bank fees and reduce the amount of money the customer must tie-up would be a 50% deposit (the amount may vary based on which factory we use). In this case, the customer makes a 50% deposit at the time the merchandise is ordered, and pays the balance by wire when Access Assembly presents shipping documents proving that the goods have been produced and delivered to your location. We must insist on wire funds transactions, because most factories will not ship the merchandise unless they have been paid in full. Exceptions to the rule can always be made.


How long will it take my product to arrive?

It varies. If you are placing a reorder for product we have previously manufactured, your product may be available to ship in as few as 10 days. If it is a new product, complete with prototyping and custom packaging, it may take upwards of 180 days to complete the cycle.


I just invented a new product, will you help me market and sell my product?

That depends. We need to see your product and your marketing plans. Contact us and tell us a bit more about your product. We may be able to put you in touch with channels of design engineering and distribution that will purchase your products, and we can help jump-start your business.


Will Access Assembly sign a non-disclosure agreement before I show you my product?

There is no problem for us to sign an NDA since our interest is to maintain your business and an outstanding relationship. If we need to contact a third party in order to promote your product or to help your organization design a product, your organization will be contacted first before making any moves.
